Novel Electronic Designs, Inc. celebrated it’s 30th anniversary partnering with the Illinois High School Association over the weekend. Since 1996, BuzzerSystems.com has furnished lockout systems for the IHSA’s Scholastic Bowl State Finals.
A lot has changed since then! Back then, each tournament was held at separate sites. In 1996, the Class 2A tournament was held at Woodruff High School in Peoria, where a fledgling BuzzerSystems.com made its a debut after the original supplier withdrew. Ever since then, Novel Electronic Designs, Inc. has been the equipment supplier of choice for the IHSA – one of the nation’s premier quiz bowl tournaments.
